The last few months of pandemic life has left many of us feeling lost. We were honored & so excited to team up with the lovely community of Tropicasa to bring our MUJER supporting community something fun & safe to participate in. We enjoyed the art, work, & products of over 25 female artists, vendors, & performers that night & we want to say THANK YOU.

(We recommend) Click hereA reminder of what you holdWe are so excited to share with you our newest collection! Each time we sit down to come up with something meaningful for our community, we think about what we want Mujeres we know,, & Mujeres we have yet to meet, to feel, to live, to remember.
This collection, our “No Te Dejes” Collection, is about the MAGIC we MUJERES hold within us & use at different stages of our lives; In our careers, relationships, goals, & throughout our unique journeys. The reason we chose this particular saying in Spanish for our latest slogan is because we found that when having difficult discussions with our closest Mujers, “No Te Dejes“ was a reoccurring phrase used to make sure they didn’t let a situation or person get the best of them. “No Te Dejes” is a phrase many times used to remind others to not let people take advantage of them.
When it feels like the world is taking advantage of your kindness, your beauty, your love, your hard work, your heart, your tears, your ideas, your name, your joy, you must stand up & not let it. You must be the one to withhold your own magic first, & help others once you are able to with it, but you have to come first, Mujer. “No Te Dejes” also means that, Do not leave yourself. Whether you take that literally, or spiritually is up to you. What we love about this saying is you can make of it, whatever you need in that moment. It can be as unique as each Mujer we know, & what each one of us is going through. Our new logo, found stitched in white or lavendar in our grey & black beanies, is our attempt to remind you that we are everything we need. We are the moon, & the center of our entire universe. By combining our flower, which has become a staple symbol of Mujer Rgv. & our new moon, we hope you have the reminder that you are you own entire universe.

Pop Up Announcement, Interview Live, & other fun announcements coming very very soon!
Photography by Sergio Trevino Designs by Sirheem Fuentes The month of October is usually spent watching spooky movies & dressing up as others. Mujer Rgv is a huge fan of those things, but for this month we thought we’d take SPOOKY SEASON a little more literal & motivate you to watch yourself do SPOOKY THINGS in real life, & DRESS as YOUR ULTIMATE BRAVE YOU.
We have a few things planned for this month which scare us too: A new launch, a physical pop up, & an interview that might be most difficult one we’ve done yet, but we wanted to introduce this months theme by sharing a small challenge of things we can begin to do today. Some of the things on this list may seem easy for some, & hard for others, but are meant to take you out of your comfort zone NOW. What may seem silly for some MUJERES, might seem very difficult for others to conquer, & that is the beauty of our community, we are all so different, with different challenges in our daily lives, but we CAN CONQUER ANYTHING TOGETHER. Whether your conquering self doubt, image issues, finding strength, or finding happiness, we hope you find something that pushes you a little on this list.
Stay tuned for more coming from us very soon Mujer! Leave a comment down below if you want more challenges like this from us! missing our mujeres
An Investment in our Future Now more than ever, our community deserves a reminder that women, together, can overcome. MUJER ES PODER, our new motto, is Spanish for "WOMEN ARE POWER," as well as "WOMEN MEANS YOU CAN." This is the inspiration behind all that we do from now on. As we launch our new line, our weekly blogs, & our online LIVE TALKS, we hope to remind everyone that no matter what this year has thrown at us, we can & will perceiver. We just need to ask for a helping hand.
When purchasing our Mujer Es Poder Tee shirts, stickers, tote bags, or any other product, you are helping us continue to invest time, space, & money into future female supporting females projects, collaborations, lives, workshops, blogs, this website, future launches, & when the time finally comes, future physical events! The back of our tee shirt was designed by Seems, our founder, as a bouquet for you. A bouquet that signifies all of us. Alone we are coveted, strong, & resilient, but can surely get a little lonely. Together, we are an array of beauty, strength, knowledge, encouragement, power, change; We are the flowers in a bouquet, slowly brightening the Rio Grande Valley with possibilities.

Mujer RGV began in March 2018 to gather a group of female artists to tour the RGV with acoustic music at local coffee shops in Edinburg, & Mcallen, Texas. I hoped I could find support within a community we built & feel safe enough to gain the confidence in believing in my own music, I wanted to meet the women of the RGV who wanted to support one another. We started with our first event in March 2018 at Grind Coffee Co, & boy have we grown as a community since then.
Coffee Shop Tour Turns WorkshopMujer RGV-The Workshop is something I've been dreaming about for a minute. I learned how to throw events at my previous job, but being as how I have needed so much guidance and leadership in trying to write and perform my own music, I figured, I couldn't be the only one struggling to accomplish the things that I most want to. Many people forget that to be a successful artist,(really a successful anything) one must learn the basics of what it takes to build a foundation for whatever platform you're trying to conquer. The Workshop was created slowly. It's basis, was to create a safe space to unite women artists and entrepreneurs of all ages, and of all walks of life, to learn, grown, inspire, and connect with each other.

Mujer Rgvis project that I began to build a few years ago solely focused on building a community of female artists, entrepreneurs, & musicians in the Rio Grande Valley who wanted to support one another & help each other grow. Slowly but surely it's turned into my biggest venture yet, leading events, workshops, online discussions, & all kinds of projects. With the help of my community, Mujer Rgv helps ensure the females of our area have a successful future, however that may look for them. Archives
